Pavillon des Roses is a very calm and quiet property, rich in history, located downtown in the old part of the village, in a very small street (used by residents only) starting between the town hall and the post-office.          See  area map You feel at home outside, and children can play safely, the courtyard and garden being totally out of reach from the street as long as you keep the front door closed. Offering freshness at summer time, our troglodytic rooms behind the house may surprise you if you are not familiar with the Loire Valley yet. Within 3 minutes walk from Pavillon des Roses, you can find a baker (selling fresh bread early in the morning), a chemist, a hairdresser, a tobacco-newspaper-gift-post shop and a café-bar offering lunch facilities. Local market with butcher, greengrocer and cheesemonger every wednesday morning. Supermarkets, banks and various shops are just 5 minutes away by car, in the new part of the city. Amboise, home of Leonardo da Vinci, is only 3 km away. It welcomes a big market every Friday and Sunday morning. Our guests use to remark that Pavillon des Roses is a unique place, very central, an ideal location for visiting the area and strolling around, with a warm welcome from owners, as you can read in our Livre d'Or. Pavillon des Roses has 2 double bedrooms and one bathroom downstairs ; 1 twin and 1 double with another bathroom upstairs.          See  House map (Plan de la maison) Rental rates vary upon season and number of guests / rooms desired. They include gas, electricity, hot and cold water. Free parking. We also supply bed, toilet and kitchen linen upon request ; if required or necessary (mandatory if the party includes a pet), we do assure post-occupancy housekeeping at an extra fee as well. All rates are quoted from Saturday 4 pm to the next Saturday 10 am - other requirements upon request.          See  Rates (Tarifs) Bookings are effective upon receipt of the signed contract and a 30% bank wire ; cancellation without fees until 1 month before arrival - 3 monthes during high season. A 300 € safety deposit is required upon check-in ; it is given back after post-occupancy checking is performed.
